Rick left everything he knew about himself and his music to travel abroad. From awe-inspiring sights in Istanbul to quiet introspective days in Lisbon, the experience fuelled the creation of the songs, the band and ultimately the record. As Rick puts it – “The perspective I got from leaving gave me the drive to do what I always wanted to do. I was able to eliminate the bullshit and focus on what really matters.”
