Podcast Episode Summary
Cave Sedem was born in Hungary in 1981 his interest in music began at a very young age.
When he was 12 years old started cutting songs from some of his favourite artists - Capella, 2Unlimited, Magic Affair, Jam and Spoon, U96 and Depeche Mode together with cassette decks,
At primary school he learned to play the piano and in secondary school spent his breaks at the school radio station where he discovered CDs and and turnable. He soon started playing in his school self organized underground partys together with his friend Deep-Pression (an other young hungarian dj and producer).
He first played dark techno and tribal techno, but after a few years he turned to electro (Kraftwerk, Anthony Rother etc.) and progressive sounds (Digweed, Booka Shade, René Amesz, Eelke Kleijn etc). He played at clubs nearby his hometown where he won the 3th place @ 3 State Dj Chamipionship in 2001.
He was introduced to Plastic City Records through a CD compiled by the artists Terry Lee Brown Jr. and The Timewriter by one of his friends, and this changed his thinking about music. He then decided to make his own songs with deep sounding, and minimal tunes.
Together wih djing he made songs and remixes. Nowdays some of his works are played by well known artists such as The Timewiter and Dj Tarkan.
One if his songs - 'Magnetowid' was released by Tribal-Music Records in Febreruary 2007 .
He moved in Scotland shortly after to try and break the music scene there .
