We learned, for example, that the heart works harder while you are at rest than muscles but muscles work harder than fat. You need more muscles than fat, right? You need to lift weights to gain muscles. But you can't lift the same weight for a year and expect to gain muscles. You have to increase the weights.

Do we need a year plan? Perhaps, eh? Start out at a comfortable weight, lift and increase the mount you lift and perhaps your muscles will increase. Good plan. Plus we will be walking and watching what we eat. If we stick to our plan perhaps our excess weight will disappear and our muscles will re-appear. Okay.

Remember: before starting an exercise or diet routine,

see a doctor to make sure you're not harming yourself.
