Podcast Episode Summary
Disclaimer: I put this together simply because Outkast is 1 of my 3 top favorite groups. I have purchased their albums and decided to put together a mix that I could listen to over and over without getting bored or tired of listening to it. It is not my intention to profit from these great artists. The mix is simply to display my mixing skills in hopes that fans of Smooth Kool and the artists that are chosen, will appreciate the gift and the hustle. It sure would be nice if the right person heard the mix and contacted me for a collaboration. But, I guess that's most M.P.'s (Music Promoters aka D.J.'s) intentions/wish/dream. I just had to say that since Cash Money Records are suing mixtape DJ's now. I promise to pay royalties if it gets to that point. Please don't sue me, I need the lint in my pockets...
A DJ (DJ Kool Herc) is what started this whole Hip Hop thing. Why are we the ones that get shitted on the most. If it wasn't for the DJ, how would the music get played?
Anyway, this will give my favorite group Outkast the other half of mic that the Source didn't give 'em. This is one of those mixes that you can put in and forget about the next button.
And until my homie Billy Burn 1 gets a deal, I have no choice but to keep doing what I do. It's either that or die. Music is my life. Damn, Lil Wayne, why???
