Join us as Richard Peifer shares the reason for the Gifts of the Spirit. There are numerous gifts that the Holy Spirit gives to the Body of Christ. The gifts are for edifying and growing the body. Gifts are not earned, nor are they taken back. Why? I Corinthians tells us that manifestation of the Spirit is for the common good. We belong to Christ, but we also belong to each other. The gifts are given to equip us for works of service to build up the Body of Christ. Our goal is to reach unity in the faith and become mature. Have we reached that goal? Allow the Holy Spirit to work in us today!
