Holland's CD release party at Pianos on 10.13

Hollands is the musical extravagance of guitarist John-Paul Norpoth (Butane Variations, Your 33 Black Angels, Akron/Family, In Cadeo). Recorded during a period of personal turmoil, this six-song collection called Mother, Hollands' second EP, finds the lead-singer and songwriter in a drowsy mood. Between the heavy drums and tremolo violins, there is a bursting punch. It rides out with strong beats and a slumping drum that builds into the tom-chop sluice of a Sergeant Pepper bust out.
