B! SILENT AUCTION – 12” Goodbye, Aaliyah
In 2005, I donated a photograph that I took of Aaliyah’s R I P mural, which auctioned
for $500.00 at a fundraiser: Gifts of Love Auction and Luncheon, held by the AIDS Center of Queens County. Philip S Glotzer, Executive Director, Ebony Small, Special Events Coordinator.
For every year that passed since then, this photograph has increased in value by $500.00,
and is now valued at $3,000.00.
This will be the starting bid price for anyone interested in purchasing this piece.
The photograph will be shipped free of charge to the best offer by August 25, 2011, 6pm.
SPECS:
Format: Digital C-Print
Size: 12” x 12”
Frame: black metal, glass front
The photograph was taken in the East Village, NYC (Second Ave, Second Street)
in a parking lot. I don’t think it is there anymore; the same way Tupac’s mural is gone.
