Podcast Episode Summary
Nobody really knows what Beethoven's improvisations sounded like, but this Fantasy gives a rare glimpse into the inventive mind of the master, as he put music together on the spot, at the piano. Eventually this was written down as his Op. 77. As bonus, Inna Faliks plays a couple of Preludes by the composer, poet and novelist, Boris Pasternak.
