Jerry Grieser - Jesus said, "If any man has ears to hear, let him hear." It was not physical hearing Jesus was addressing but a desire to perceive spiritual truth. Anyone, if they desire, can unlock the mystery of the kingdom of God - Mark 4:11, 13. Through instruction and application Jesus attempted to train his disciples to use their authority to alter things in the physical dimension, but their sensitivity to physical circumstances kept them insensitive to Jesus' words. This teaching explores how we might learn from the disciples' failures and begin to take God at His word and act on it.
