The members of Destroy This Place employ a new type of math where the result of the equation is Loud Fast Rules. They figured out if you take 4 local music veterans that have played in some of Detroit's finest bands, like Friendly Foes, New Granada and the Cold Wave, apply a hard work ethic and add an aggressive power pop sensibility you get: Loud Fast Rules. The other part about the equation that I haven't mentioned is how Destroy This Place applied an accelerator to their equation where their talent and common mission to making music has brought them to the forefront of great local bands in less than a year.
