Podcast Episode Summary
Beethoven's friend the Baron Ignaz von Gleichenstein was the lucky dedicatee of this beautiful Sonata for cello and piano. Beethoven must have had a lot of respect for the cello-playing Baron, because he gave him the first notes of the theme to play without any accompaniment!
