"That was too nasty" – Paul Barrere after Rocket in My Pocket. The first show after several weeks in the studio, the band was raring to go. Highlights include Sam Clayton's growling blues vocal on Willie Dixon's Mellow Down Easy, and the super-funky Fred Tackett song One Breath at a Time. New Delhi Freight Train, a Terry Allen tune included on the Time Loves a Hero album, is a welcome addition to recent setlists. And talk about nasty – the Hi Roller encore closes with a funkalicious guitar duel. This was recorded with new equipment and the matrix sound is stunning.
