Podcast Episode Summary
Pat knows firsthand how swift, unexpected events can turn lives upside down. She was happy being a contented housewife and mother until the day her husband's light plane struck a mountain. Suddenly, she was the head of their household with two small children to raise and educate. Within two years after her husband's death, Pat, along with her son, daughter and pet dachshund moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where Pat was newly enrolled in Tulane University School of Law.
Pat is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Florida. She is a member and past trustee of the Akron/Canton Real Estate Investors Association and a long time real estate investor. Having been through the costs, frustrations and delays of a probate proceeding herself, Pat has assisted many over the years who were going through this process.
Pat has been a national speaker on asset protection at women's groups, as well as, hundreds of real estate investor groups across the US. Pat offers common sense talks about how to prepare in advance to soften the landings when bad things do happen.
The primary goal of Pat's legal practice is protecting her clients' holdings from whatever may befall. She believes in looking after the entire well-being of her clients. Pat addresses tax issues, probate concerns, fears about being entrapped by a guardianship and, most importantly, shielding each financial kingdom from lawsuits and other catastrophes.
