Podcast Episode Summary
Whilst the need for fansubs in this day and age is currently being hotly debated,
(I'd argue that paradoxingly, it's probably more needed now than it was a few years ago due to the problems facing the North American Anime industry at present) I'm pretty sure this one is never going to get licensed; The 47-episode (partial) adaptation of the classic Chinese novel series; "Romance Of The Three Kingdoms".
This old school (personally, calling anything from the 90's, "old school" makes me feel old) anime TV series dating from 91-92 is pretty well regarded, even in China, and an enjoyable historical based show. It does not go the route of the "Dynasty Warriors" game series, so do not expect amazing, hyper-kinetic, magical Kung-Fu action.
It should be noted that the ever-loved Liu Bei is pronounced "Lao Bei" in Cantonese; Do not say to your Cantonese-speaking friends, "I love Liu Bei!" because Liu means "to pick" and Bei means your nose.
To those of you whose knowledge of the Three Kingdoms is based off of watching "Ikkitousen", I suggest you lobby hard to change euthenasia laws in your home country and/or state; You know what to do next.
