Sofja Gülbadamova
For this week’s show we re-visit one of our most popular pianists - Sofja Gulbadamova. Sofja, as you will recall, has won many international piano competitions throughout the world.
She has recently performed, on demand, in Washington DC at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She has also recently performed at St Martin-in-the-Fields during the “World Concert Pianists” series as well as touring Chile.
Sofja is an avid supporter of Classical Music Discoveries and also has become a very good friend of ours.
Last November Sofja kindly agreed to do a Valentine’s recital for our show which is now available on the “Euroimmun” label. The CD is entitled “Barcarolle” which is available on Sofja’s website and Itunes.
So sit back with your special Valentine and enjoy a recital featuring one of the greatest pianists the the world, Sofja Gulbadamova, as she performs works by Schubert and Liszt.
