This edition of Sunday Miscellany, and first broadcast in May 2009 was broadcast to mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of Patrick Pearse on 10th November, and was recently short-listed for a 2009 PPI National Radio Award. This programme marks the publication of The Life and After Life of PH Pearse - Pádraig Mac Piarais: Saol agus Oidhreacht edited by Roisin Higgins and Regina Uí Chollatáin. The spoken contributions were written specially for Sunday Miscellany. The programme was recorded live in front of an audience in the Pearse Museum, Rathfarnham, Co.
