The boys are back after the Christmas and New Year fixtures, and thanks to the results, they are not full of Christmas cheer! Thankfully they have a win against Wolves to discuss! All this plus one of the last ‘Dear Mart’s’…ever!
So if you’re a Chelsea supporter, the Christmas fixtures have had about as much cheer as a turd left in your Christmas stocking. Outplaying Spurs but only getting a 1-1 draw; 1-0 up against Wigan before going to sleep and getting a 1-1 draw. Poor against Fulham for another 1-1 draw, and shocking against Villa in losing 3-1. Welcome to the New World order ladies and gents, we’ve got our Chelsea back. That having been said we are unbeaten in 2012 as the Chels actually showed some fight for the battle in gaining a workmanlike 2-1 against Wolves, and remember we lost against them last year, so that’s got to be an improvement!
We discuss all the ins and outs of the win against Wolves as well as a quick look back at the Christmas fixtures, and we also ask what the future holds for Chelsea. All that plus this week’s Match Awards - the ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments.
