Glen Hansard, of the Irish band The Frames, and Czech singer and pianist Marketa Irglova, started making music together for the soundtrack to their friend's 2007 film, "Once." The pair ended up playing the starring roles in what came to be a world wide art house phenomenon and earned an Academy Award for their hit single, "Falling Slowly."
