Podcast Episode Summary
Due to a reshuffle in the schedule its means you have another set from me, Tim B. After listening to Oleg Poliakov excellent mix last week, I wanted to do set in the same vein...something...Deep and Modifiable.
And this is what I came up with...
Slow building tempo of 'Thyladomid - The Voice' kicks off the set, fantastic summer tune with a teasing vocal sample that’s keeps you anticipating the drop of Nina Simone’s - Feelin Good!
This is followed by a track from Gorge’s debut album ‘Mood’. This track features The Writers Poet and is called ‘Erotic Soul’ silky smooth lyrics and a deep sexy underground tone, makes this tune a terrace favourite.
Moving swiftly on its time to drop some BIG! BIG!! Tunes, ‘Danny Serrano & Vito Cacciapaglia - Osaka’ And the huge Drums of ‘Oscar L – Umayah’. Both tunes are peak time floor fillers.
It’s time to mention my favourite track on the mix, well in fact I have two. The first one is ‘Ante Perry and Olivier Gregoire - I Am So’ The bass and the Kick on this track smack you in the face so hard its, brutally good! and that’s not to mention the sweet vocals that get lodged in your head.
The other track is by 'Reboot' and called 'Hermano’. The gloves are completely off with this track and the maracas are on with full force, bossa nova, samba fuelled madness with an edgy tech/techno powered bass bass-line… Its Total POW in your face!
And Finally, I finish off with a tune that has one enormous build up and even sweeter drop ‘Kabale Und Liebe - Since You Looked Into My Eyes’. I hope you enjoy the set and if you're Dutch or Spanish Good in Luck in the World Cup Final.
