This week we kick off with a set that is full of my favorite artists. Lots of techno jabs, builds ups and drops to keep you bouncing around the room. I usually leave the best track until last and this week is no exception “Pig and Dan - Moderation” it definitely a tune worth checking out… Amazing!!!

Matti Kiviniemi
Matti Kiviniemi AKA SysteMattiK , Finland's Secret Weapon to the UK Underground. As a fan of underground dance music since early days of Acid House during the first half of the 90's. The warehouse scene in Finland was very vibrant and such DJs as Krisse & Elliot Ness, Lil Tony & Orkidea, to name a few, had a big influence in his perception of what good mixing is all about. Matti had a brief period of producing and performing his own music before leaving his hometown to begin and concentrate on his studies. For a while music fell into the background until he was blown away after seeing a set by Miss Kittin. He describes this as the defining moment that made him decide he wanted to get back into music. Matti combines an old and new school approach to his DJing. He began his DJing career mixing with vinyl, however, with a keen interest in technology, he now uses the latest laptop technology but he keeps the laptop in the background and concentrates on using his controller to mix and rock the crowd! His styles include Techno, Minimal, Tribal & Tech-Funk. Matti is inspired by such artists as Richie Hawtin, Magda, Kid Loco, Anja Schneider, Miss Kittin, Gui Borratto, Umek, Kraftwerk and many many more. He is currently a resident Dj at Freche Frychte a monthly underground House night held every 3rd Saturday of the month at Bar Square in Hull UK serving the best in Underground House Music.
