Podcasters belief system
Many podcasters believe that, once major corporations come into the field of podcasting, these conglomerates are going to add regulations to podcasting and raise the costs of production, thus sealing off a large part of the podcasting community. This has not happened, but is not unthinkable. This possibility would put up all kinds of barriers for smaller podcasters and would only shrink the podcasting community. It would make podcasting less exciting.
